MAINSTREAM RADIO PRESENTER
Welwyn Hatfield Radio is looking for enthusiastic volunteer presenters to host mainstream music and entertainment programmes across the station schedule.
Whether you're an experienced broadcaster or looking to take your first steps into radio, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience on a licensed community radio station while entertaining and informing local listeners.
Our mainstream programming focuses on great music, local information, community news, entertainment features, interviews and audience engagement.
Responsibilities:
• Present live or pre-recorded radio programmes.
• Prepare and deliver engaging content.
• Operate studio and broadcast equipment (training provided).
• Promote local events, charities and community initiatives.
• Engage with listeners through social media and station platforms.
• Work with the programming team to maintain a high-quality broadcast output.
What we're looking for:
• A confident and engaging personality.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Reliability and commitment.
• A passion for music, radio and the local community.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Previous broadcasting experience is welcome but not essential.
What you'll gain:
