SPECIALIST RADIO PRESENTER

Welwyn Hatfield Radio is seeking passionate volunteer presenters to host specialist music and interest-based programmes.

We welcome applications from individuals with knowledge and enthusiasm for specific music genres, hobbies, interests, cultures, local history, arts, entertainment or community topics.

Whether your passion is dance music, rock, country, jazz, soul, electronic music, local culture or another specialist subject, we'd love to hear your ideas.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and present a specialist radio programme.
• Plan and prepare engaging content relevant to your chosen subject.
• Research artists, topics and features.
• Operate studio and broadcast equipment (training provided).
• Promote your programme through social media and station channels.
• Help bring new audiences and interests to the station.

What we're looking for:
• A strong passion and knowledge of your chosen subject area.
• Confidence communicating on-air.
• Reliability and commitment.
• Creativity and enthusiasm.
• Ability to produce interesting and informative content.
• Previous radio experience is beneficial but not essential.
